Sassoon Docks is the vibrating heart of South Mumbai's maritime economy. Built in 1875 by David Sassoon, it continues to welcome deep-sea fishing trawlers returning from the Arabian Sea. Led by Ashwini Tandel, an acclaimed community educator and food custodian from the Colaba Coastal Collective, this dawn trail unpacks the taxonomy of western coastal fish, how to spot wild vs farmed seafood, and the cultural heritage of Mumbai's coastlines.
